Web and Social Media Strategies for Visual Artists

03/10/2013

Image of empty theatre in Belmullet Arts centreI’ll be visiting Co.Mayo this Saturday to take part in ‘Web and Social Media Strategies for Visual Artists‘, a Mayo Artists’ Network event delivered in collaboration with Visual Artists Ireland.

Along with Mary Carty, who’ll be talking about Social Media promotion for artists, I’ll be talking about using a website as a promotional tool and giving examples of artists who have made good use of theirs (and how!).

It will also be my first chance to visit Belmullet since I was a child, many of my forebears hail from here, and I’m looking forward to seeing the Aras Inis Gluaire Arts Centre.
