This course was developed in association with Visual Artists Ireland and Clare County Council’s Arts Office and was also delivered as part of the NCAD CEAD short evening courses in 2010 and 2011, and as part of the Midlands Masterclasses 2010 for Offaly County Council and as part of 2011 Year of Craft in conjunction with Clare County Enterprise Board. The course was designed to meet the needs of a diverse group of artists, designers and practitioners who wanted to publish, promote and sell their work online. The course would be equally useful to sole traders, self-employed or small businesses who wanted to create a web-presence.
Course Facilitator:
Niall Flaherty is currently a lecturer in UCD School of Library and Information Services teaching Information Design and Creating & Publishing Digital Media, he has also lectured for NCAD and DIT in drawing, photography, video, new-media and sculpture.
Niall is a founder member of Blackletter Artists Group. He started Artist-makers Online to assist artists and creative groups to improve their web-presence.
He has developed courses for the NCAD, DIT, Visual Artists Ireland, National Sculpture Factory, and Clare and Offaly County Councils.
