Web and Social Media Strategies for Visual Artists

Image of empty theatre in Belmullet Arts centreI’ll be visiting Co.Mayo this Saturday to take part in ‘Web and Social Media Strategies for Visual Artists‘, a Mayo Artists’ Network event delivered in collaboration with Visual Artists Ireland.

Along with Mary Carty, who’ll be talking about Social Media promotion for artists, I’ll be talking about using a website as a promotional tool and giving examples of artists who have made good use of theirs (and how!).

It will also be my first chance to visit Belmullet since I was a child, many of my forebears hail from here, and I’m looking forward to seeing the Aras Inis Gluaire Arts Centre.

    I recently designed a website for The Printmakers Gallery, on Drury St, Dublin. It’s a responsive website, built on WordPress.
