Eugene O’Malley’s new artists site!

Stonemason, sculptor and painter Eugene O’Malley has built his new artist’s website with Artist-makers Online. From his artist’s statement: ‘I attempt to make work resembling the familiar sculptural forms of every day life and work. The pieces are a combination of organic and constructed forms with a strong emphasis on physical attributes such as its spatial relationships, weight and volume. I am intrigued by how a piece inhabits space, how it relates to where it sits…’.

Peter O’Kennedy now Online

We’ve just finished a site for visual artist Peter O’Kennedy. His practice includes moving and still image work, and video and kinetic installation. He graduated with a Masters in Visual Arts Practice from IADT, Dublin, in 2008. His most recent solo exhibitions include Skip Roll Bump Scratch, at 126 Gallery, Galway, October 2009; Situation at Pallas Contemporary Projects, February 2009, and Tracking Beacon NY 12508, at 92, St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin, in 2008.

Raymond Barrett is a writer who until recently was based in the Middle-East. He has writen regularly on the region for Ireland’s Sunday Business Post. He has also written for Foreign Policy, the Christian Science Monitor, Open Democracy, the Beirut-based Daily Star and the Kuwait Times. Now he’s publishing a book on Dubai, the economic miracle and it’s aftermath.
